1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. We also use comparable technologies such as localStorage and similar browser storage. In this policy we use "cookies" to cover all of them.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
Required for login, security, session management and basic site features. Disabling these would break the site.
Preferences
Remember your language, currency and layout. Disabling these means you may need to set things again on every visit.
Analytics
Aggregated, privacy-friendly metrics about which features are used. We do not use cross-site tracking pixels.
Marketing
Used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns on partner sites and to show relevant rental-protection content. Off by default.
3. Your choices
The first time you visit, we ask for consent. You can change your settings at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. You can also clear cookies directly in your browser.
4. Retention
Consent preferences are stored for 12 months, after which we will ask you again.
5. Third parties
We use a limited set of EU-based providers (e.g. payment processor) that may set strictly necessary cookies to complete a transaction. Any third-party analytics or marketing cookies only run after you give explicit consent.
